OSCE Chairman in Office Solomon Pasi met in Chisinau on 21 June with President Vladimir Voronin. The talks focused on ways of solving the Transnistria conflict and on the Stability and Security Pact for Moldova initiative, launched on 1 June by Voronin. Pasi reiterated the readiness of the OSCE to promote a final settlement of the conflict with the separatist region.
