Archbishop Pimen: Christian believers treated like terrorists by political leadership

President Iliescu asked Archbishop Pimen of Suceava and Radauti to make amends for his declaration regarding the security measures taken by the authorities during the ceremonies at the Putna Monastery. Presidential spokeswoman Corina Cretu said Ion Iliescu rejected the Archbishop's opinions and considered his way of expressing them unworthy of a clergyman.
