The High Court of Appeal disposed that the causes of general Victor Athanasie Stănculescu and general Mihai Chiţac be reexemined. The two have been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for repressing the 1989 uprising in Timişoara. They consider that their defence rights were violated in 1999.
