Seventeen journalists from Antena-C and EuroTV Chisinau were on hunger strike on Saturday morning. More journalists from the two stations announced their intention to join the action in the days to come.
Three of the 20 journalists from the municipal radio and television stations Antena-C and EuroTV Chisinau who went on hunger strike were admitted on Friday evening. After receiving medical assistance they were discharged with the recommendation to discontinue the hunger strike.
A new meeting was announced for Sunday, 4 April, to protest against the suspension of the two broadcasters.
