Romanian Foreign Minister's declaration regarding the Transdniester conflict

Romanian Foreign Minister Mihai Traian Ungureanu said on 3 January that Bucharest expected the European Union and the United States to take into account Romania's interests in their endevours to resolve the Transdniester conflict. Ungureanu expressed hope that 2005 would turn out to be "decisive" in putting an end to the conflict. He added that his government was following internal developments in Moldova and would take decisions depending on those developments (meaning the upcoming elections).
