The Romanian Foreign Ministry on 13 June commended the Moldovan parliament's unanimous vote on the settlement of the Transdniester conflict, calling it an "eloquent expression of the commitment of representative political forces and decision makers in the Republic of Moldova to find a sustainable and democratic solution for reestablishing the country's territorial integrity". The ministry specifically promised to urgently analyze the appeal by the Moldovan legislature to the OSCE, the Council of Europe, the United States, Russia, Ukraine, and Romania regarding the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transdniester.
