Moldova becomes member of the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP)

On May 3 the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) announced that Moldova would become its 10th member. The group also includes Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, and Turkey. Greek Prime Minister Karamanlis said there is "an excellent level of cooperation" among SEECP countries. "We want to modernize our rail links, promote trade between us, and together face up to the struggle against organized crime."
