Moldova's Central Election Commission on 23 September decided that another ballot for the post of Chisinau mayor will be held on 27 November. The post has been vacant since April, when former Mayor Serafim Urechean took up a parliamentary seat. Two mayoral ballots in June and July proved inconclusive due to low turnout.
