Moldova's media authority (CCA) licensed on September 27 a local TV station to broadcast on the frequency used until then by Romania's public station TVR1. CCA member, Vlad Turcanu called illegal the decision taken by the communist-dominated authority: "CCA may withdraw a broadcasting license only if a TV station fails to respect its schedule”.
